It’s interesting actually to see how I process stuff before a big event like a new workshop launch. Like decluttering. Recognising its almost like a procrastination thing I do.

Whister was such a Party Town. I was in my early 20’s. I must say I rather loved the West coast of Canada.

I once lived in Whistler Blackholm in Canada for a couple of months before ski season, sharing a room with six others I’d met in Banff National Park working as Accomodation Manager at Johnston Canyon Resort for the Summer, while waiting for the snow to fall. I’d had heads up that you had to be there early to secure a job, but it was sooo expensive to live in this Ski/Snowboard town, I knew your money could run out before you got work. But I secured a job and was training up be an accommodation manager for 130 properties and it came with this room - so everyone squattered with me. Needless to say, they gave me a car too - but I could never get over the fear of driving on the other side of the road between the Chalet houses to check jobs, so I had to go back to square one, leave that ‘good job’ but I soon got a better offer and become a high-end chalet girl (basically a housekeeper/cook/girl-Friday) for a boutique ‘We do everything’ ski company that hosted intensive ski packages for rich & famous people. That all is another story.
