I begin my 'January 1st' on March 1st, and it suits me well. This week, I'm outlining for myself what I need to do to embrace the change from autumn to winter & to avoid Seasonal Affective Disorder.
I missed this newsletter when it came in so a lovely treat to read it this morning while I’m ’lying in’ after getting back from Perth late last night (our scheduled flight was cancelled)
Sorry about your freezer - I agree it would have been frustrating.
Once again lots of great ideas - thank you - living in the outback the winter sun can be divine especially when you can access it out of the wind.
So gutted about your freezer. I would have cried. Bubble wrap is a good sub for double glazing if you need to get through a winter. Obvs spoils the view a little, but keeps things cosy. xx
So so sorry to hear about the freezer that’s bloody annoying . Maybe put an ad up locally for excess fruit ? I did that once when we lived in the UK. I made chutney and sold it to raise money for a charity. Our daughter has Williams Syndrome and I gave the money to the charity in the UK. Was a great autumn that year, 21 years ago now before we came to Australia.
The recipes were so welcomed the Women’s Institute asked me if they could have them to keep the tradition going.
Anyway I digress, sending a bit of light from me to you . I’m on the South Coast NSW Burrill Lake and we’ve had shed loads of rain this week. We did need a bit. Xxxxx
